SET OF 2 10" x 12" NIJ LEVEL IV Ceramic Body Armor Plates
Patriot Armor level IV Body Armor is rated for up .30-06 M2AP Black Tip Armor Piercing rounds! We are known for offering the most affordable body armor in the industry and now we are offering the ultimate in protection with our new Level IV Armor plates. With a profile of just over 3/4in. thick, our level IV body armor features a thinner profile compared to what's currently being offered on the market, and at only 5.5lb per plate. Rated for a single .30-06 M2AP (7.62mm x 63mm 165gr Armor Piercing, Black Tip) round, and all of the lesser Level III threats including M193 and M61, Patriot Armor Level IV Body Armor provides protection against a higher threat level than our traditional Level III body armor.
Stand-Alone, our Level IV body armor does not require any additional backing or soft inserts to meet the threat level. The curved contour improves comfort and ergonomics, with a similar design to the contour of our curved Level III body armor. We utilize a durable single panel ceramic strike face to maintain the best ballistic properties for higher level threats, and an Aramid backing comparable to a traditional armor system that is similar to what is currently, standard issue in the military. With our Patriot Armor strike face, and spall & fragmentation containment built in, our Level IV body armor is industry leading. Our Patriot Armor Level IV plates are designed to be used as a front or back plate.

Patriot Armor Level III Body Armor is manufactured from an extremely rugged ballistic grade steel core and coated with our proprietary protective coating. Our ballistic steel plate is unmatched in the industry and is formulated and treated specifically for improved consistency, durability, and then tested to NIJ standards. Our ballistic plate core is stress fracture resistant, features an ultra-low profile ballistic core of only 0.25”, and is designed to handle extreme abuse in day to day use, training, and less than ideal storage conditions. Patriot Armor body armor will outlast alternative armor solutions such as Ceramic, Dyneema, UHMWPE, and raw/uncoated steel trauma plates.
Level III Rating: Patriot Armor body armor is Stand-Alone and Multi-Hit capable. Designed to defeat rifle threats up to 7.62x51 M80 NATO Ball (.308 Winchester) at velocities up to 2,780 feet per second and all pistol calibers.
Our 10” x 12” armor plates fit nearly all industry standard plate carriers and all plate carriers capable of accepting Medium and Large SAPI body armor plates. Our 10” x 12” body armor offers adequate coverage of your vitals which include your heart, lungs, and surrounding blood vessels on most people. 10” x 12” is the most common size and fits the widest selection of plate carriers available on the market.
